Okay it’s coming up 5am in a few minutes here in the U.K. but I’ve been up all night (so as not to break up my night shift work cycle).
I’m off to bed now all the same.
One happy clean Piglet to sign off.

Are you sure that you’re not secretly from the Skoda marketing department? If so, it works. I want one.

Cheers fella. It’s been just over five weeks since she arrived and I’m still pleased as punch with her and her looks. We had a great day yesterday. Clear day, not too bright and sunny, very gentle breeze and a lovely temperature of 8 degrees C. The metallic flake in the paint is small yet in the right light is beautiful. Metallic blues are such a magical colour as they just come to life when you look at them in the sun. I loved the old car but Piglet is something else. Unfortunately I’ve still yet to see another on the road where I live.
The old girl. Mk2 Superb estate.

Nice looking car and color but I see where you missed a spot.

Interestingly, my brother lives in Walthamstow in London and has a terraced house like these although maybe marginally bigger. Two rooms downstairs, two and a half bedrooms, poky little bathroom, long and narrow back garden with a shed, no offstreet parking. His second next door neighbour has put his identical house on the market for £875,000. More than €1m for a poky house in a fairly down-market area.

These are a bit smaller yes. Some are two bedroom, others three. Typical price is around £115,000 for one in my city.
